Wow... 30... It's Over

You should have seen that coming. I had to put one ridiculously horrible picture of the two of us on here! I wonder if our other roommates were concerned about us.... Anyway, Sara darling, we've had some many great times, have we not? In case you've forgotten, here's a few reminders...
-Yoshi
-Hershey's Kissables
-Peach Rings (Mary Bricker....)
-The Worm
-Pointy Hips
-Si
-Desperate Signs to get Dates (He he)
-DON'T PUNCH THE LARD!
-Walmart and Six Flags
-Nachos
-ETC.
We've laughed together, cried together, sung Disney songs together at 2 o'clock in the morning--all signs of true friendship I can assure you. I'm so glad we keep in touch. You're amazing. I know I've made fun of you for liking rocks, but secretly, they're kind of cool... I just can't go that much in depth... I studied English after all :) You should be grateful for that because if I didn't have moments like that story about Rafael. You know you're entertained by my works of fiction! When you're all done with school, let's hang out somewhere random. How's Mount Rushmore sound? I've never been, but it seems cool. Sound cool to you? Sara, please keep me up to date on your life always! I'll return the favor...but you may regret it. Ha ha! Thanks for being a super awesome roommate! Twice! And a half if you count that one time I slept on your floor....
This is the last day of our photo challenge, and Breanna lest you feel forgotten, here's a good memory :)
Thanks for being my friend, for being just as nerdy as I am (if not more so ha ha), reading and liking what I write, etc. Also, thanks for living in Colorado. I know you don't have a lot of control over that... But it will be nice to have a familiar face be one of the first things I see when I fly there in July. Stay awesome, my friend.
27 threw up 29...don't worry, 27 throws up rainbows
Well they say a pictures worth a thousand words so I'm not going to explain this one at all.
I'm Afraid of 28

27 ate 29 and somehow became 28
Well I am afraid of a heck of a lot of things. There are so many serious answers I could give to this but those would just make me too depressed. So, lets go with this.
If this happened to my phone I think I'd have some sort of heart attack. My phone is like a mini computer I use it so much and if this ever happened to my computer... I know it's just an object but when my best friend is in that phone (as far as texting her ha ha) and many of my other internet friends are available there, it would be heart breaking to lose that (especially when the phone itself is way too expensive). Yeah, I think it's safe to say this picture terrifies me, I cringe every time I look at it.
27 Members of my Family?
Yep. You gotta love local annual carnivals...and taking pictures while on the rides.

Oh Laura, you are amazing. You are so creative and talented. You give great advice and make delicious peanut butter cookies :) I know you remember that one time you made like two dozen and Stuart and I ate pretty much all of them by the time you got home. I feel like you've always been a part of our family. I'm grateful for all the fun times we've had, and I'm grateful for you! Love ya!
If I Didn't Have 26...

25 Seizes the Day
Well, if Breanna gets to brag about Colorado, I certainly get to brag about Washington.
Oops... I forgot to make the pictures center, and I'm much to lazy to fix it...
But here's some other things I've
24 wishes to forget
This is the video description:
Strange but
interesting. This is a car advertisement from Great
Britain.
When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed
something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. They
found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in that
exact same spot.
The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained ghostly
phenomenon. Watch the front end of the car as it clears the trees
in the middle of the screen and you'll see the white mist crossing in
front of the car then following it along the road....Spooky! Is it a ghost, or
is it simply mist? You decide. If you have the sound up a little, you'll
even hear the cameraman whispering in the background about it near the
end of the commercial. A little creepy but pretty cool!
22 and 23 Join Forces
That's me and my brother and sister waiting in line at Disneyland. Obviously my patience was greater then. Ha!
21 Laughs at 20 Because Danielle Didn't Even Give it a Title

So you see, all those bad times are worth because I am blessed with so many more good things. I want to focus on the good. I rejoice in the good. I truly am sorry for the people I may have hurt along the way. Perhaps I should express more to people how much I care for them or how much I admire them.
Life is good, and I plan on having many more moments like those shown above in my life :)

There are many things I haven't seen inside my own country that would be awesome to see. Mount Rushmore, for instance. The Big Mac museum. Forks, Washington! Ha! Anyway, Germany is the winner of the photo contest today.
Adventurous 20
I thought we already talked about this...
Hello, 19. You're adorable.

And here's the four of us! I come across this picture the other day and could not stop laughing. My little brother is the best!
18 is Insecure

I took this picture awhile back when I wasn't sure if I'd be able to visit Breanna (but I did!), or if I'd even have the money to do so. I'm defining success as being able to get a well enough paying job so that I can provide for myself. I'm working towards that goal, and you know, this isn't where I thought life would take me at this point in time, but life isn't bad. I'm going to continue my education with a four week publishing program in July. Hopefully, that will help me find more job opportunities. I have a roof over my head and food in my belly. Life could be a whole lot worse. Over the 6 months to a year, the desire for independence and the fear that I'll never be able to accomplish that have been the source of great stress on occasion. I think I've overcome it for the time being. Hopefully, I can keep that fear in check. I know things are going to work out fine even if it's not the way I imagined they'd work out. Let's face it. Life hardly ever goes exactly the way we plan, right? The biggest thing that comes with this insecurity is that it seems to lead to other insecurities. But we live and we learn, and we strive to make ourselves better.
In Case You Haven't Figured Out That I Care A Lot About Family... Here's 17

It's really exciting because I'm finding pictures of people that I didn't have pictures of up to this point. So there you go. I'm buried in pictures, trying to keep them organized and properly labeled, and I'm loving the whole experience!
16, You Inspire Me

Second is one Lindsey Gruwell. She was my roommate at BYU-I a few years ago. I loved that apartment. All six of us stayed there for two semesters straight, so we had lots of bonding time. Towards the end of our second semester together, Lindsey relapsed and was faced with Leukemia for the third time. We didn't know for sure if that's what it was when she left. She went home so the doctors she's worked with before could do some testing. It was from her home that she called us and told us that she had relapsed. That was a hard moment. We kept her in our prayers and finished off the semester. We parted ways after that, but we still keep in contact now and again. Lindsey started a blog to keep friends and family posted about her condition. As she was going through treatments, I remember thinking how amazing it was that she could go through something so hard and still remain so positive. The few times (and they were very few) where she revealed irratation or other negative feelings, she always apologized and pointed out good things, her blessings. Lindsey is better now. It probably seemed like forever, but she is now back at school and moving on with her life. She is such a wonderful person. Her happiness and positive attitude are truly inspirational.

I want to learn the dance to Thriller. How awesome would that be?

12 Lords a Leaping...or Something

The first thing that came to my mind is the piano. Although I did mention that I'm not necessarily that good, I do enjoy playing. I love the piano. I keep trying to come up with something eloquent to say, but nothing's coming. Obviously, I should be getting to sleep :)
