I can now officially say that I have read Little Women in it's entirety. Sometimes I wonder how I made it through my education as an English major without reading certian books. Little Women is one of those. I had a slight hang up at first as I discovered that my copy was only the first half. Thankfully, I happen to have another copy so I could read "Part Second." Anyway, I did enjoy the book. I like to read those sort of real life domestic stories once in a while. My major complaint? It was kind of long. I like the characters and I'm glad that some things were different from the movie because it made me more forgiving of the whole Laurie and Jo and suddenly Laurie loves Amy situation. I hope you know what I'm talking about and I didn't just ruin the stoy for someone... But I think I would have enjoyed the story more if it were 200 pages shorter. Ha ha it was still good though. Don't get me wrong. I think it is one that should be read. You just have to be patient :)

Also, I thought it was funny how much I could apply to my life. I guess some things don't change even after a hundred years.

P.S. You should totally watch the movie simply for the fact of the actors in it. It still makes me laugh to think of Christian Bale as Laurie. Not that he was bad. I just keep picturing Batman.
