This is the perfect day to write about something I love because it has been cloudy and rainy and it's supposed to rain tomorrow too.


I love rain.

The smell, the sound, the freshness of rain, I love it all. Every time it rains, as long as it's not slanted towards the glass, I open my window. The smell of coming rain, rain, and the wetness rain leaves behind is all so pure and fresh and wonderful. I love the coolness that rain brings as well as the calm that the sound gives off. Whether it's a soft drip of slow and sparse rain drops or the pounding of a heavy rain, I love to listen to it. Even thunder, when it is distant, is a calming sound.
